The Achara standing stone, Duror at 12 feet high (3.6m) is considered to be one of the most impressive in the area and is well worth a visit.
There's also miles of forest track in Glen Duror to explore by mountain bike.
The village of Duror has a campsite, bed and breakfasts and hotel.
There are Scottish Citylink bus services to Fort William and Oban.
